The Mexico City Police have arrested a man accused of injuring two people after a fight in the Iztapalapa borough. The arrest took place in response to a report from the East Command and Control Center, which alerted authorities about injured individuals on Luna and Real streets in the Lomas de la Estancia neighborhood.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found two individuals with evident signs of injuries, prompting them to request medical assistance. Due to the severity of the injuries, the victims were taken by their relatives to a hospital. The injured, aged 34 and 25, told the police that during a confrontation with the driver of a red vehicle, the latter attacked them with a sharp weapon.

In response to the description provided by the victims, officers identified and arrested the alleged assailant, a 53-year-old man. After informing him of his constitutional rights, the individual was placed at the disposal of the appropriate authority to determine his legal situation, while the vehicle related to the incident was seized.

Authorities are now awaiting the Public Prosecutor's Office to define the actions to be taken regarding the detainee in relation to the unfortunate event that occurred in the Iztapalapa borough.
